Support & FAQ

Find answers to common questions about the Lumnos study tracker app.

How does Lumnos work?

Lumnos uses the Pomodoro technique to track your study sessions. Select your exam type and subjects, start the timer, and your study time is automatically recorded. View detailed statistics, charts, and weekly reports to monitor your progress.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Lumnos works anonymously — you don't need to enter any personal information. The optional name field is stored only on your device.

Where is my data stored?

All your study data (sessions, statistics, achievements) is stored locally on your device only. Nothing is sent to any server. This means if you uninstall the app, your data will be deleted.

Which exams are supported?

Lumnos supports exams across multiple countries: Turkey (YKS, LGS, KPSS, ALES, DGS), India (JEE, NEET, UPSC, CAT, GATE, SSC), Indonesia (UTBK, CPNS, Ujian Mandiri), and Brazil (ENEM, Vestibular, OAB, Concursos). You can also add custom subjects for any exam.

Does the timer work in the background?

Yes. The timer continues running in the background. You'll receive a notification when your study session ends. When you return to the app, the remaining time is accurately updated.

What does Lumnos Pro include?

Lumnos Pro provides an ad-free experience, 25 premium color themes, and advanced analytics features. Core features (timer, statistics, notifications) are free for all users.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Your subscription is managed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Go to your store's subscription settings to cancel. The app itself does not process payments directly.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete all your data by going to Settings > Delete Account within the app. Alternatively, clearing app data from your device settings or uninstalling the app will permanently remove all data. To delete your Firebase anonymous account separately, contact us via email.

How do I turn off notifications?

You can manage notification preferences in the app's Settings screen. You can also set quiet hours to avoid notifications during specific times (e.g., nighttime).

Can I change the app language?

Yes. Go to Settings > Language to switch between supported languages: Turkish, English, Hindi, Indonesian, and Portuguese (Brazil). More languages will be added in future updates.

How do study plans work?

Lumnos generates personalized weekly study plans based on your exam type and selected strategy (balanced, intensive, or light). Plans distribute your subjects across the week. You can also manually edit any day's plan to fit your schedule.
