Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lumnos mobile application ("App") developed and operated by Bugalgo ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform Owner": Bugalgo, the entity that develops and operates the Lumnos application.
  • "User": Any person who downloads and uses the App.
  • "Lumnos Pro": The optional premium subscription tier offering additional features.

2. Scope of Service

The App provides the following services:

  • Pomodoro-based study timer
  • Subject-based study time tracking and recording
  • Study statistics, charts, and weekly reports
  • Personalized study plans and recommendations based on exam type
  • Exam date countdown
  • Achievement and badge system
  • Smart notification system (study reminders, streak protection, etc.)
  • Multiple language support (Turkish, English, Hindi, Indonesian, Portuguese, and more)

The App is not an educational institution and does not provide academic consulting services.

3. Account and Registration

Users can use the App anonymously. No registration or email address is required. The App operates with Firebase anonymous authentication.

4. User Obligations

Users agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms
  • Not interfere with the App's technical infrastructure
  • Not use the App for reverse engineering, decompiling, or source code extraction
  • Not copy or distribute App content without permission

5. Premium Subscription (Lumnos Pro)

The App offers an optional premium subscription called "Lumnos Pro":

  • Premium subscription is managed through Google Play or Apple App Store
  • Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled
  • Cancellation can be done from Google Play / App Store subscription settings
  • Premium features include: ad-free experience, premium color themes, and advanced analytics
  • A free trial period may be offered for yearly subscriptions

6. Advertisements

Non-premium users may see advertisements within the App, served through Google AdMob. Ads are displayed in non-personalized mode by default. No ads are shown during active study (timer) sessions.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App and its content belong to the Platform Owner. Users may not copy, distribute, or use any part of the App for commercial purposes.

8. Data and Privacy

For detailed information about how your data is processed, please review our Privacy Policy. Study data is stored only on your device.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is". The Platform Owner:

  • Does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Is not responsible for loss of data stored on the user's device
  • Does not guarantee any specific exam results or academic success
  • Is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App

10. Account Suspension and Termination

The Platform Owner reserves the right to restrict access for users who violate these Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. For disputes, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Turkey shall have jurisdiction.

12. Changes

The Platform Owner reserves the right to update these Terms with prior notice. Significant changes will be communicated through the App.
